Administration
Dr. Jeremy Lewis
Welcome to Bradley Academy! I am honored to serve the students, staff, faculty, parents, and community as the principal of this amazing school! The 2024-2025 school year will be my 18th year in education and 13th year in school administration. As a school administrator, I served as a Dean of Instruction for 1 year, Assistant Principal for 3 years, and Principal for 8 years. I was a teacher or school administrator at the following schools: Bellevue Middle School (Memphis), Bellevue Middle School (Nashville), Cane Ridge High School (Antioch), and Croft Middle School (Nashville).
I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in history from MTSU in 2006, a Master of Science degree in educational leadership from Christian Brothers University in 2008, and an Educational Doctorate degree in Leadership and Professional Practice from Trevecca Nazarene University in 2013.
I believe that all students can learn, and that public education can positively impact and affect all students. As a committed supporter of public education, I believe that it is important to not only close the achievement gap, but also narrow the opportunity gap for our students. My primary goal is to provide leadership which will facilitate a positive school environment where all students feel safe and excited about learning. It is my sincere desire to provide opportunities for our students to acquire the skills to become productive, responsible citizens while supporting and fostering leadership capacity in educators.
I have been married for 16 years to my wife, Rachel, whose profession is an ultrasound sonographer. My wife and I are blessed to have 3 children: a 12-year-old son and 10-year-old twin daughters who attend Bradley. Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with family, traveling, watching sports, and cheering on the University of Memphis Tigers, Memphis Grizzlies, and Tennessee Titans.
